Kaspersky
‘25 Hours in a Day’ - Kaspersky challenged tech companies to see what they could achieve with an extra hour in the day. Here we spend that hour with language app Memrise, as they seek to make the most of the gift of extra time.
From our series for ‘Tomorrow Unlocked by Kaspersky’ entitled ‘Behind The Screens’, this 8 minute film features two members of the Metropolitan Police’s Cyber Crime unit as they take a deep dive into the dark web and the criminality it fosters.
ANA: East Meets West
Airline web commercial for Japanese airline All Nippon Airways, via Acumen Design Associates.
The challenge here was to showcase ANA’s new cabins, whilst communicating the core brand traits that make them Japan’s premiere luxury commercial airline. We got clever with the cinematography and found a way to shoot the sequence as an elaborate one shot move, similar to the recent feature film 1917 by Sam Mendes. We also lit the sequences to be more dramatic than the otherwise mundane interior of a jet, to create the sense of an elevated environment. The film was a core part of the large unveiling event in Japan.
Simby
A documentary, a commercial and a scripted feature blended into one 17 minute film - here, we were promoting an AI product that didn’t yet exist, and a company with a desire to depict the need for that product in the dystopian world of the near future. Simby is also an ‘anti-tech’ product aimed at protecting the world from the potential dangers of AI and the ongoing commercialisation of their data. We used VFX and clever filming techniques here to bring the technology to life in an exciting and expressive way.

In the Cold Dark Night
Set in the heart of the American south, IN THE COLD DARK NIGHT examines both the 1983 and 2018 investigations into the murder of a 23 year old African-American man, Timothy Coggins. The film was a major success in the US, opening the Atlanta Film Festival before screening to an audience of millions of Americans on its first night on ABC, ending up with a 2021 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing In A Documentary Feature. The film was acquired by SKY, produced by RadicalMedia in New York, and executive produced by Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, TV producer/director Greg Yaitanes, and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Wesley Lowery.
The Instagram 'Scammer': Caroline Calloway | My Life Online
Nick directed the now infamous VICE documentary in 2023, as part of their My Life Online series. The film spends a week with the notorious Instagram star Calloway as she delves into her past and tackles a belligerent group of Reddit trolls that make her life a living hell. The film racked up half a million views in its first few days and is one of VICE’s highest performing films of recent times, with regard to audience engagement and viewer retention.
Eurotrump
EuroTrump is a 90-minute documentary film, which follows Geert Wilders's campaign for Prime Minister of the Netherlands during the 2017 Dutch general election and compares him to US President Donald Trump. The film was acquired by HULU in the US and VICELAND in Europe. It was directed by Stephen Robert Morse and Nick Hampson; it was co-written by Morse and Maria Springer.
