Nick Hampson, Filmmaker
Nick Hampson is a film director, producer and editor who holds a BA from New College, University of Oxford. In 2017, Nick directed his first feature film, EUROTRUMP. The documentary was acquired by Hulu in the US and VICELAND in Europe. Off the back of this early success, in 2020 Nick directed IN THE COLD DARK NIGHT, which opened the Atlanta Film Festival before screening to an audience of millions of Americans on its first night on ABC, ending up with a 2021 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing In A Documentary Feature. Most recently, in 2023 Nick directed VICE Media’s now infamous documentary “The Instagram Scammer: Caroline Calloway”.
On the commercial front, Nick has produced world class films for many prominent brands, including ANA Airlines, the BBC, the University of Oxford and Kaspersky, to name a few. He’s passionate about technology and specialises in helping brands bring their products and concepts to life on screen in original and memorable ways.
